Telehealth, Treatment Summaries, New Automations, Gift Cards, Insurance Integrations, and more!

We're happy to announce we have integrated telehealth. Simply check off the "is telehealth" checkmark for new or existing services in the services settings page and everything else is taken care of. Patients get their notifications modified to include unique links to a video meeting, there's a waiting room, you can invite others (like a translator or family member) to participate. Patients can use their phone, zoom isn't required. Here's an article with more details, enable some new telemedicine services today!

Create professional and helpful "Treatment Summaries" for your patients while building intakes. You might have seen the "TS" button above the "HHS" (health history summary) button. Some text is automated, you can add in some "pre-formatted" text from the settings page, and then create a "library" of your treatment methods/instructions for all sorts of conditions like "Toenail fungus" or "Post IVF instructions" for example. Treatment summaries are available for them to view and download in the patient portal. Give them a try on your practice patient.

"eGift cards" are live, you can add them to visits, allowing patients to purchase them. They'll get a special email notification with a code which they can forward to gift recipient. And... you can also configure some eGift Cards in the settings for patients to purchase in the patient portal if you have Stripe enabled.

We've got Claim.md and Office Ally integration both live! For those on our insurance plan, we're proud to be partnering with the Claim.md clearinghouse to make billing easier, and we have Office Ally integration as an option too. Head over to the "Claim and Superbill info" settings page to enable one of them.

Some other noteworthy updates

  • Tips are nice and now you can easily receive them with the same or a different payment method used for other charges. 

  • Our popular "from history" feature has made its way into the visits, so staff (especially front desk) can quickly charge based on what happened in previous appointments. 

  • Email notifications have been enhanced. 

  • You can now schedule and check off the "I want my patients to pay in advance for the appointment" checkbox and they'll get a notification prompting them to pay in the portal when you have Stripe enabled. 

  • Birthday reminders! Enable them in the Staff Notifications page to be reminded when one of your patients has an upcoming birthday. There's also a new birthday filter in the patient list. Next we'll send this to MailChimp to enable some more automations for your practice. 

  • You can tailor which Patient Health Form are sent to patients by default and other automations from the "patient health forms" settings page. 

  • We made it so you can customize some more indexes like the pregnancy one, women's health, tongue and pulse, etc. The other few will be uneditable. 

  • Insurance billing got a bunch of new improvements including the integrations mentioned above and claim templates allowing for easier and quicker claim creation. 

  • Importing patient and product info got some nice improvements, making it easier to get up and running.
