Embedding Portal, Service Availability Upgrade, Acupuncture Points & More!
You can now offer your services on different days of the week and time of the day. From each of the "availability blocks" on the schedule, you'll see your services listed there, and you can check (and uncheck) them to limit which days you offer each service. Want to offer community style acupuncture on Thursdays from 5-7pm? Or a create a window of time when you only want to see "initial acupuncture" patients? You can use some creative freedom to play with this new feature by clicking on the "Availability" button in the schedule and then editing or adding availability.
For those who care to have a more professional look of your website, you can now "embed" your patient portal into your website. Head over to Settings>Practice>General to find the code. You may have to give it to your web designer to add it to an existing page or build a new page on your website. Patients will be able to begin the booking process from your website and eventually be taken to the secure patient portal to finish the process.
Acupuncture Points got their own index! You can still type points in manually if you wish in the field titled, "Acupuncture points notes" as before, but for those of you who would like to chart "sets" with times in/out, left, right, bilateral, we have all of the 14 channels, extra points, auricular, and Master Tung points included in the app. You can type them in or click them from the pop-up window. If you care to add some favorite acupuncture points you commonly use, you can 'star' them in Settings>Intakes>Acupuncture Points. The index will remember each patient's most commonly used points, so you can click them into a new intake, and our 'from history' feature continues to support charting your points. Hover over the point, and you'll see the anatomical point location in case you forgot. You can even search for the points by name, like "vertigo" to find that auricular point. Have ideas to help us improve this index? Please let us know. We're thinking we can add in CAM point prescriptions! Who remembers those? ; )
Some other noteworthy updates
We added "calendar attachments" to your patient appointment notifications, so they can click on links to add their appointments to Google, Apple, and Outlook calendars.
Reports are downloadable spreadsheets.
You can send all of your custom patient health forms right from the schedule, and there's a new "save and add payment shortcut" from the intake that should save time. You can now add up to 8 rooms in your practice.
We wish you a happy Spring. We're very much wanting to partner with "experts" in our field to build custom patient health forms and practitioner intakes. Know of any stellar practitioners who specialize in conditions they are passionate about? Wouldn't it be nice to use a patient health form for your new Lyme disease patient who's coming in next week that was crafted by a specialist who knows the right questions to ask? Or a motor vehicle accident questionnaire that has all of the best questions because 2 of our awesome colleagues worked together to build an amazing form to gather data on how your patient is doing. You would show up to treat them and see all of their answers to 'the best' questions you could ever ask them! This would truly help us all become better practitioners, so if you know of any fellow practitioners who specialize in anything they are passionate about, please connect us with a warm email introduction!
Wishing you continued success and prosperity!
