Patient Portal and Updates 2/24/23
Woot! We've got a number of new features and several improvements to announce!
Memberships offer a whole new model of doing business and we are happy to allow you to offer them. Go to Settings>Billing>Memberships, add in services and discounts on products, and choose how services "roll over" to the next month (w/options including all, none, or 'so many' services roll over per month). Your patients are billed monthly to their Stripe credit card and everything is tracked in the system.
Add in quick breaks over your availability from the schedule with the "tea button" to create individual breaks, repeat events, close offices, or just make some time to enjoy a cup of tea π΅
We won't bore you with the details, but our engineers worked extremely hard to improve the speed and responsiveness of the app and you can expect even more performance upgrades in the near future. Note: pages that have previously loaded from the same browser tab will load again more quickly, so we recommend you keep most actions in a single tab rather than opening multiple tabs so that you may notice the improvements π
Intakes got some improvements - quick links to indexes, the ability to add or remove indexes more easily, and the health history summary got some formatting changes to be able to read the data more easily.
Please head over to Settings>Practice>General and hit the "edit practice info" button to add a new profile banner photo that's shown now on the patient portal. Here's an example of what you can do. More portal customization coming soon!
In the last update, we announced the inclusion of CAM point prescriptions, and now you can create your own custom point prescriptions! Head over to Settings>Intakes>Acupuncture Points to build them.
Some other noteworthy updates
Patient health forms now have a status, so you can see their level of completion and remove them from individual patient's list of forms to complete.
You can nickname patient's credit cards, such as "wife's credit card".
There's a new filter on the patientβs page. - "Has unused packages".
The ICD10 codes are much more searchable.
We're now able to serve customers in the European Union, so now you can delete (or anonymize) patient records. If you or the patient deletes their record, the financial records remain, and you can download a copy of their statement if they have a balance due.
The "Check in" button got redesigned. You can choose to check in which creates a "visit" and either charge for the service or not.
Adding staff members got easier, allowing you to get them onboard with a new flow.
The "multi-factor authentication" (MFA) or "two factor authentication" security feature got smarter at noticing existing devices. If you want that extra level of protection, hover over your name in the upper right corner and then go to "My profile".
Packages are much more responsive to edge cases around refunding packages if a patient decides not to continue.
Are you using the "flags" to mark important patient health information in intakes? The formatting of these is more descriptive now.
You can prevent patient's from cancelling and rescheduling online within your cancellation policy's hours - See the financial section of your policies page - if you edit these, it does prompt you to update the policies.
You can import any of your patients old notes. There's a new section in Settings>Practice>Import Data and then go to the "patient health data" tab.
Do you have FullScript turned on? Prescribe products from within AcuBliss, patients pay online, they get drop shipped to their home, FS deposits money into your bank account. It's slick! Go to the "Practitioner Intakes" settings page to configure it.
Text message appointment reminders get "confirmation links" allowing patients to confirm appointments from their phones.
